Detangle before you wash. Wet fiber tears. Heads Up! Detangler loosens mats first, so you are not pulling hair out of the cap while it is at its weakest.

Then shampoo and condition. Both are made for doll hair rather than human hair, so they rinse clean instead of leaving buildup that turns fibers limp. Safe on synthetic, natural and mohair.
